Perhaps a competitor has sent spam links to your domain.
Worth checking your extensive backlinks and check what is present.

9/10 a drop like this is caused either by on-page or someone spamming poor links to your domain.

Check your last 3 month traffic report and compare it with previous 3 month report and you will get the answer.

It's Alexa. It means absolutely nothing at all.

It's Alexa. It has nothing to do with links or anything in GA.

Like Mike said, Alexa has nothing to do with SEO.

Alexa even tells you their data is all in house & has nothing to do with anyone/anything else (ex: Google SERPs).

Stop worrying about stuff that doesn't matter. Alexa doesn't even matter outside of SEO.

    [source]

    Our Data
Alexa's traffic estimates are based on data from our global traffic panel, which is a sample of millions of Internet users using one of over 25,000 different browser extensions. In addition, we gather much of our traffic data from direct sources in the form of sites that have chosen to install the Alexa script on their site and certify their metrics. However, site owners can always choose to keep their certified metrics private.

  • who cares about alexa? Are you keywords still ranking on google page one? If yes then that's all you should be worrying about.

Alexa was popular about 10 years ago. Not now. You should worry about your website traffic, not Alexa rank.

The process which eliminates the discount is automatic, while the one which eliminates the game from the list not so.

That's why the game is still on the list, but we see it at a 0% discount.

Dear botmaster: could you please add a rudimentary check to match your BS to the thread? Random shite is much more likely to get deleted as it's frigging annoying.
      Signature
Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

      What's your excuse?

This is maybe because you're not receiving that much traffic which you were receiving back in the days. You can also get on that level by getting much more traffic than nowadays. Alexa Ranking is totally depends on the Traffic. The more traffic you get the more higher you rank.

Nah. That's what Alexa wants you to think, but that's not how it is.

I have sites with 0 traffic that Alexa said were getting a few thousand uniques a month, for good keywords too...

And sites that had 10 or 70 times more traffic than Alexa said they had.

      So, no. Nope. Never.
