Hi all, I have been reading a lot last few days, one of the things I read that interests me is the issue of private blog networks.

I will like to create a private blog network of 10 sites. Can you warriors please advise me/share tips with me on how to go about it.

What sort of domain to register, hosting and what cost I should expect to pay on the average.

There is no way to give you a realistic cost. It depends on the quality of domains you buy. I would expect anywhere from $100-800 per domain including content costs.

You want to host domains with separate hosting accounts making it harder to identify their purpose.

When buying domains, remember you are buying them for the links pointing to them. Don't go off of metrics like DA, PR, CF, TF, etc. You need to understand the LIVE links that are pointing to them.

There are tons of other little things you want to be careful about. I have a whole course on it. Mainly, stay away from building crappy blogs. Focus on building real, quality sites.

Very, VERY good explanation. Especially the last sentence is so RIGHT! This is the main thing that over 90% of webmasters FORGET or they just don't pay attention to! What's the point of building 10-15 crappy blogs when we can create one, but a GOOD and QUALITY one!

This information is what I am searching. What comprises a good blog network. I want to start with 10 domains. What should I look for in each domain.

Number of external links, page authority, domain authority and the likes.

PA, DA, likes... that stuff is all useless. DA and PA are highly inaccurate.

You need to have a good grasp of the live links pointing at a domain, not what Moz, Ahrefs, or Majestic are reporting, but actual live links that exist today.

You need to buy subscription to Ahrefs or Majestic. Then grab their links and run them through something like SpyGlass or Backlinks X-ray that will tell you if the links are live or not. Scrapebox could also do it.

You download the links and run them through something like spyglass which will tell you if the links are alive or not.
