Hi everyone,
I am just wondering...
Does the Exact Match Domain Still Work to rank our page?

    Yes. Not a lot.

Yes, it helps if you're doing other things.
Not a lot if that's all you do.

My info is ancient, but I launched 2 sites going after the same keyword a few months ago.

On one, I put up 5 pages and let it be.... I ended up at 52... which is much better, wouldn't you say, than 348. So, I got some help.

The other site, I put up some 55 pages and posts, with nice inner links and, presto, ended up #8. Did a few low quality eternal link and jumped to #4... A few means 25, low quality means articles and profiles and all the stuff I talk against usually (because I built a handful of links to them... so they were low quality but not lowest of the lowest).

Then some random people got me a couple of links and... I'm floating mid-page.

Yes, if you can include the keyword in the domain with no spaces, it should give it a boost in the search engines.

It might, but not necessarily the exact term you wanted to rank for in the domain.
My view is that EMD's are both self-limiting and can be, or at least sound, spammy, it makes more sense to go with something genric or branded for your niche.

I would say worry less with EMD and start focusing more on exact match URL. Far more control and less opportunity for over doing a keyword

      Example keyword.com VS anything.com/keyword

In the eyes of most search engines today they will have about equal weight
