Why aren't my new post rank well?

Hey everyone, so I have a great website, it ranks well on thousands of keywords, been holding top position on many different keywords for years now, but with the new posts that I make, they barely rank if not at all, the question is why? I see some other sites shoot up the ranking few days after they publish new post, mine on other hand cant be found anywhere? Any suggestions here?

Maybe your new post have big competitors for the keywords or too much SEO so your blog get penalized.

Its just weird how some sites that dont have much DA/PA get listed on the 2nd page or so right after they're posts go live. What is the secret to that? Can anyone who is successful at it, shine some light unto this?

Have you looked into your competitor's backlink profile to see whos linking to them? Quality over volume

Yea, but my site has good authority too, it ranks other post real well, and it held #1 position for number of keywords for years, but new posts dont have a good bounce as my competitors do for some reason, they dont even have any links to them.
