What happended to my page?

One of my webpages titles has changed back to the old one, at least thats how it is displayed in google. When you click on it the title looks fine, so it looks like this.
google: "old boring title"
actual page: "new good title"
I know what you might say, that it takes a while for the page to update in google but the thing is that the new title have already been in google before so I have no idea why It has reverted to the old title, I havent changed the title...
Can anyone offer an explanation?
