Alexa Ranking is utterly meaningless, so there is no problem.

its just having trouble reading your traffic. the more traffic you send to your site the lower your alexa ranking goes down.

You can even buy on fiverr a package that lowers your alexa ranking. all they do is send tons of traffic to your site, but the traffic is not targeted at all. The Traffic is from a Traffic exchange site. so they only stay on your page for about 30 sec. than leave

You don't have an Alexa problem; you have a thinking-about-Alexa problem. Specifically, you think Alexa ranking means something. Like Mike said, Alexa's got nothing to do with anything that affects you. Stop thinking about Alexa rankings, stop checking Alexa ranking; focus on marketing your site, on SEO, adwords, and such.

It has zero impact on SEO. It is a totally worthless number.

Alexa themselves admits (and tells YOU) that after the first 50, 100,
perhaps 1,000.....the rest are pretty much a crapshoot.

And over a million? The alexa rankings are utterly meaningless, which
they tell you this as well.

And since the top 50,100, perhaps 1,000 websites are already known
and listed all over the internet.....who really needs alexa?

I cannot believe that people do not know that alexa is owned by amazon.com.
Yup, that amazon. It's just another website in their arsenal to get traffic
            and make money.

Now don't get me wrong. I am not saying that their paid service is
not worth it. I have no experience or even heard anyone mention
here that they have tried it. It could be valuable to webmasters.

But that has nothing to do with public alexa rankings.
            They are not worth squat.

There are limits to statistics based on the data available. Sites with relatively low measured traffic will not be accurately ranked by Alexa. We do not receive enough data from our sources to make rankings beyond 100,000 statistically meaningful. (However, on the flip side of that, the closer a site gets to #1, the more reliable its rank.) This means that, for example, the difference in traffic between a site ranked 1,000,000 and a site ranked 2,000,000 has low statistical significance. Sites ranked 100,000+ may be subject to large ranking swings due to the scarcity of data for those sites. It is not unusual for such sites to decline to "No data" Traffic Ranks, or to improve suddenly.
Oh yeah. Another thing they tell you. Is that you are ranked against everyone else.
So if sites above you increase traffic, then you stay put or even drop.

But hey, let's start talking about an alexa sandbox!

      Is that true? Lol..
      What a BIG drop

I dont think that google consider your alexa rank to be ranked better on their SERP..
      So, it's nothing

No. Alexa guesses what traffic you have, unless you've installed their dohickey... Even then it's not accurate. They have been off on my sites by 1100% regularly.

      Occasionally, by infinity...

Alexa is pretty useless in most cases because it will only track the visitors who actually have the Alexa toolbar installed on their browsers. Clearly not everyone uses the Alexa toolbar. I personally don't find a need to.
