Hello,

My website is targetting french market but I have many visitors from other countries. Mainly from Russia, China, US, Ukrain.

I receive one time every 3 weeks spam comments. Sometimes, I receive text who actually doesn't make any sense and link to website that does not exist.

What I don't understand is my website doesn't have a lot of authority. It's just a small website with 8-9 articles.

Couple times some people try to access in my wp admin, by going in *mydomainname.fr/admin* or some wp-content directory from the url.

What should I do ?

Thanks you

They're bots, they don't care about anything except trying to get a backlink (any link).

Delete the theme comment forms & use a Facebook iframe for comments, assuming you actually need traffic posting legit comments.

What do you think is wrong with my theme comment forms? Because all the comments need to be approved by me

Do proper on-page SEO for your site to stop visitors from not targeted countries.

Simply, use iThemes Security (formerly Better WP Security). You’ll be able to change:

    /wp-login.php to /login/
    /wp-admin/ to /admin/
    /wp-login.php?action=register to /register/
Or to whatever slugs you choose in the plugin settings

    Good luck man!
