Hi all, I really need an expert advice this time.
Actually I am running my own blog named HEALTH FOOD AND LIFESTYLE – Know your Food, stay Healthy and live a sexy Lifestyle and the hosting is going to be renewed in next 30 days.
Problem is, I have some financial problems so I can't renew my hosting plan.

I just want to shift my blog to a free platform that is Wordpress. I wan't to know should I publish all old blogs to that new platform or should I try a permanent redirect for that. If you are suggesting a permanent redirect then which one is that best and easy to use redirect for that.

If you can share a link for that then please go for that.

A 301 redirect is a permanent redirect which passes between 90-99% of link juice (ranking power) to the redirected page. 301 refers to the HTTP status code for this type of redirect. In most instances, the 301 redirect is the best method for implementing redirects on a website.

I have tried those 301 redirects but it doesn't redirect the links at all. Can you please share any particular link where I can read about the procedure. Does it takes any time to redirects because I have tried many plugins for that but they are not linking at all.

      Thanks,

I am sorry but I don't understand if you don't renew your account then how you wish to do 301 redirects? The hosting company won't let you.

      You can't.

But you obviously still own the domain.

So, make a copy of the articles/posts you want to
keep. You might find them in the google cache or
the wayback machine, but don't count on it.

Then, publish these on a blogspot blog.

Use you domain as a custom domain on blogspot.
      Google will host it free.

      Done and done.

If you are a technically savvy, you can actually
transfer the whole blog over to blogspot. Just
google how to transfer wordpress to blogger.

      Another option:
You can forward the domain as well using your
registrars forwarding function. Almost all will
do this free. Login to your account where your
domain is held. Then redirect it to the free website
      of your choice.

Of course there's the real answer. If you can't
afford 5 bucks a month for hosting, then just
      get out of the biz.
