As the question asks, what kind of methods do you use to find long tail, low comp keywords?

I'm building out a technology/ product review site. I have been targeting product keywords with adding"best" and " review" onto exact product keywords.

I also target keywords like "10 of the best gaming laptops under 200". These keywords seems to convert very well on Amazon.

Cheers

The best and most accurate keyword research would be to run an AdWords campaign.

    SEMRUSH.

I'll be canceling my long tail pro account as of today.

I literally just type in some keywords, I find an affiliate looking website, then I see all the KW's that affiliate is ranking for and boom I replicate that and try to take him down.

Also type the start of the keyword in google ie
if you were targeting a life insurance campaign, type in

life insurance a ( the letter a ) and google will give you suggestions which searchers are obviously typing in. Try this with every letter of the alphabet and you get some great keywords
    hope this helps good luck

Using webmaster tool and Google keyword planner.
Webmasater Tool: check search queries to find keywords for what your site get visits. Check the highest impressed keywords and use and optimize those keywords and landing page.

Google keyword planner: Check competitions and search volumes of the keywords and choose less competitive and long tail keywords with higher search volumes.

I use SEMRush, Long Tail Pro and Google Adwords. By mixing all of these tools I do find long tail keywords and low competition keywords as well.
