Yes SEO is dead, no webpages exist when searching Google SERPs.

If by "SEO" you mean trying to fool the search engines into giving a top 3 listing to a lame page, then yeah, you're better off spending your time and resources elsewhere. But that doesn't mean it's no longer possible to have success doing the kinds of things the search engines would like to see you do to produce good content, format it well, and make it part of the link ecosystem.

SEO is very important for online business. but today search engines are getting much smarter, more efficient. So some of basic SEO tactics that aren’t worth your time. Such as Keyword stuffing, Buying mass links, Content spinning. At this time, SEO at its core is the art and science. You should force on making high quality content. Which should easier to find on search engines. For Example ‘quality content’ that helps customers answer questions that lead to purchase or some other business outcome.

As a seasoned professional in Website Design and Online Marketing, I can say that SEO is NOT dead. Sure the old ways of doing things no longer work. google has more PHD's working for them than NASA does and they are always working on ways to make the algorithm smarter....

That being said, if you produce quality content and then build a community, you will climb in the rankings. SEO is very much alive, it is just a lot more work as you have to produce something that people want to read or watch. You need to spend time to make sure that what you have on offer is of value to your customers.

You build your website and your content around what your ideal customer is looking for, you offer them value, something that helps them, then this makes people want to come back to your website and stick around longer.

I find it hard to believe that people do not SEO is all about faking it.

      Just look at wkipedia.

Every good SEO expert has ways of manipulation...faking it.

If your seo is going to do the same old tired BS that every has
on a list, they are not going anywhere, except my pure luck.

Pure luck, however, is not SEO. Getting there by pure luck
actually proves the "seo is fake" theory. Nobody is
working on manipulating what you have gotten lucky at.

Someone had mentioned a little while back that a newer
forum was ranking higher than WF. I replied that the
site was better at faking it, and the WF needed to step
      up a little.

Look at it this way. If you got 10 random guys on a street,
took them to a bowling alley, how many would bowl
over 150? Probably none. But people here might see
that as "natural." Oh sure. You might get lucky and
scoop up some clown who could do 300. That's
      luck.

But match those 10 random guys against 10 chosen
men that were on teams and practiced. In the SEO
world, the 10 random guys would say, "No fair!"

If you could not find any experienced guys, that's
where the luck comes in. You might get lucky.

Are those 10 semi pro guys smoozing the system?
Faking their way to the top?

It all depends on how you look at it.

If you knew what goes on in college admissions these
days, you would know all about faking it.

Fake here is not meant to be actually fake. But going
above and beyond the norm to make yourself look good.

And that's what a true SEO expert would be doing.

    Hi,

SEO is not dead the way is changed and for quick results you can use Google Adwords but at the same time optimization of webpages are required to earn search engine benefits. Try to earn backlinks from sites which are related to your niche for keyword ranking.
