Page Authority and Domain Authority ?

Hi,

I am trying to learn how to create back-links and how they work and I am creating back-links for my website Pakistan Humara | Pakistan Humara

Now when I create a link to some website let say any forum or any blog, the forum or blog has domain authority but when I start a new post and enter my link there that page don't have Page Authority. For example have a look at this back-link Pakistan Super League

Are these links good ? and how to increase page authority of these links ? and Does DA and PA really matter ?

    PA and DA are Moz's metrics. They do not matter directly, but that's the case with any 3rd party metrics. In my opinion PA and DA are fairly good when you're comparing a lot of search results, but they're also pretty easy to fake.

    A new page should not have "authority" when you create it. That comes from backlinks (external and internal). That's the way Google's Pagerank also works (as far as we know), so Moz got that right.

    In addition to being on a new weak page that link has the rel="nofollow" attribute set. That's typical for a link that's user-provided. It's not helping your SEO efforts.

    Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.

    Page authority and domain authority do not directly affect rankings in the SERPs but they do help filter out keyword groups that you will have a hard time competing in

    Here is an example what I mean

    take example Lose Weight Fast

    this is a typical profile of authority sites that compete for this keyword group



    Now within this group multiple groups of keywords are better suited for ranking easier in the SERPs with less competition





    Green and yellow are easiest to rank for while Red is very hard lots of Authority Sites competing

    So it's not so much does your site have a high page or domain authority, but really about sizing up who your competitors are for any particular keyword group and do you have a chance to even rank in a reasonable amount of time

    DA and PA is very important nowadays in Google eyes. If you can manage to build link from high DA and PA sites your website will receive good wave of traffic and after getting natural traffic for longer time. Google will push your website further of the SERP. So the whole process is this. Both these metrics now matters.

      How can you say something so incredibly false and have the balls to put "SEO Genius" under your name?

      DA and PA do not impact rankings or traffic. Google does not give a shit what the DA or PA are of a webpage.

      PA and DA has nothing to do with Google period

      this is a 3rd party metric manufactured by MOZ

      what these metrics do is help explain who is ranking in the Google Search Engine and maybe why nothing else

      so you can't connect what MOZ does with what Google does
      these metrics help to explain patterns on who ranks and not

      if you are going to use any metrics to understand who ranks on page one they are a guide to make decisions on developing a strategy to rank in the search engine
