I found one of my friends Google search console tools with a interesting issue (interesting to me only) . i don't know anything regarding this. What are merits and demerits in term of SEO of adding same domain by different URL attributions?

Say; adding property with Https:// , with out WWW. with WWW etc. Please see the image below to have a better understanding.

    Inside of google webmasters, you should add all versions of your site. This has nothing to do with seo.

    Outside of it only ONE version of your site should be visible to users.
    Either www or non-www. Redirect the other one to the main one.
    This is important for seo.

    Same with https.
