Hi members

I've setup a new website and launched it on Tuesday 5th January last week. I've done the keywod research using Long Tail Pro. It's a review site and blog, 6 review pages published between 1000 and 1500 words each page. 5 supporting blog pages published with 500 to 1000 words per article. My niche is eco-friendly home ware, so the supporting blog posts are in the niche. The Google top 10 for my main 2 keywords and the main 2 review articles have just 1 juice link for the top 10, 5 of the top 10 have page authority under 30.

I'm using SEO Pressor and have 3 keywords for each review article, I've been checking my Google ranking and I'm nowhere for the main keywords, but 3 word keywords ending in reviews are ranked between page 2 and page 5.

I have setup a Facebook page, Twitter, Pinterest, Googe+, Tumblr and I have using StumbleUpon too. The blog posts have done quite well with 75 hits on each one. All of the blog posts have internal links to the review pages.

My question is should I buy some links so my main keywords rank higher or am I being impatient for results after 10 days?

The most recent algo updates have slowed down the pace at which you can get top page and certainly top 3 rankings. It's a much longer game now. Keep link building, socialising and doing what you're doing, but we just have to accept it takes time.

Google is also looking at how traffic engages with your site and how long it stays as well. You have to be being "talked about" for Google to take any site seriously now,.

Be calm atleast you are getting something for now. Sometimes it takes months to get indexed and ranked. Keep building content and also building links. You are in the right path. Don't worry you will get ranked.

Buying any links will never help you to get ranked for your targeted keywords. If Google knows that a new domain and having links like that, You will definitely banned from Google results. So be careful and focus on proper link building.

  • Spent most of the day optimzing two of my review articles using Google's search queries from my dashboard for the long tail keywords. It seems after checking the rankings from my Google dashboard quite a few long tail phrases are doing well, funnily enough I didn't even know about them, so I've boosted them up.
