Did Google have a new Update?

Hello,

I have a website which was getting on average about 120+ visitors a day. A day before suddenly, i got only 30 view, and yesterday 10, today has been similar for 6 views.

Did Google launch an update? i have been trying to figure out what has happened?

I experience some fluctuation on rankings as well, let's wait and see any more people get affected.

i have no idea what happened. i dont really involve in a lot of seo. but a sudden death of all the traffic. something is wrong for sure.

Google make 500 or so changes to the algorithm every year, so yes, of course there has just been an update! Sites go up and down every single day!

I mean google probably updates their search engine often... It's just we usually don't hear about it. I'm sure they make constant tweaks and what not. As far as a major update i can't see any evidence supporting this at the moment.

It seems like there was a major update yesterday from google. Algoroo strongly indicates of an update similar to the one that happened last week on 9th Jan.

Lot of people are reporting major fluctuations on WebmasterWorld since yesterday. I wonder if it's Penguin or something else.

I see that might be the case, but suddenly all the traffic has vanished.

My pages have fluctuated! 1 went from PR1 to second page and back to PR1. The other went from PR2 to 4.
