How the Super Bowl Changed My Life In The Best Way!

so me and my client was talking about old school seo and how we used to do it up back in the day and it reminded me of a really incredible story about me my brother and the superbowl back in 2011. (i would like to apologize before hand for my awful grammar, it's super early and i haven't been to sleep yet. you should be able to decipher it though)
I remember back in i think was 2011 it was like a week before the super bowl. previously my brother who also does seo decided he would attempt to rank for super bowl keywords before the game and see if he could make some money. well we both decided we would use free methods to rank a squidoo lens that promote a click bank product that showed you how you could watch the super bowl from your computer. so we both did out squidoo lens up. it was about 1000 words of content mixed with image and videos, it looked really nice.. his looked just as good. We both ranked similiar keywords like "watch the super bowl online" and watch super bowl on computer things like that.
Now on the day of the super bowl we checked and was ranked on google page one together for every keyword we was targeting. since the super bowl was trending at that time our squidoo lens's got a lot of love and so did are ezine articles. (we actually copied and pasted the same info from the lens to the article) so about 30 minutes before the game me and my brother are refreshing clickbank seeing if anybody has bought anything because we was getting some MASSIVE traffic. everytime i would refresh my clickbank page i would make sale. It was pretty amazing how some hard work and a free method can make you money online.
At the end of the game when it was all said and done i had made around $5,000 and my brother made just shy of $4,000. The super bowl click bank product was $25 if memory serves me right and i sold close to if not 200 copies.
sorry for the long text and story. i dunno why i'm telling you this but i guess i want you to know that with hard work you can get keywords ranked online. even with the worst tools at your disposal
