Duplicate Content question
- SEO |
I wrote a thread a couple of weeks ago about losing quite a few of my money sites to a manual thin content action (http://www.warriorforum.com/search-e...t-penalty.html).
So I de-indexed my old money sites in Google and put the content onto new domains. I then ran all of my pages through Copyscape and fixed up pages that were scraped from my original domains to be unique. I did not realize however that Copyscape didn't capture everything and came across another website that is now ranking using my old content. Thankfully it was only 4 pages and I can re-do it.
That being said, what kind of implications are there on my site since it now looks like I copied their site? This money site is new (1 month) so am not expecting to rank yet. However, I am not sure if is ok to leave the content up on the mean time before I fix it up? In other words does it only affect the rank for that particular page or could my whole domain be suffering as it now has a few duplicate content issues.
Thanks!
