Google My Business Places Question

I have a client in the UK and they are located on a Lane, when you set the map on Google, it comes up Ln.

Question is, for Google My Business, should the A out of NAP be Ln as Google maps or can it be Lane?

You should always make your citations EXACTLY as they are on Google places. I teach my team to just copy and paste it from the places page itself so as not to make any errors.

Some directories will auto correct the address to how they want it (so they may change it from Ln to Lane) but always try to do it as per the way Google have it.

    Johnny2spoons, thanks!

Question for you, what if the customer wants to target local areas such as mechanic Wigan, mechanic Leigh, mechanic Standish? I presume that is done by on page SEO?
