Automatic pinging opensource software

Hello warriors,

I have been searching for a while to find an automatic autopinging opensource web softwre to automatically ping my pbn websites.

I need pinging for 2 reasons:

1. In order to keep some web2 properties alive (if a free website gets zero visits for a month, the hosting company deletes the account and erases the website)

2. In order to index pages that contain backlinks on third party websites (tyre 2 and 3 backlinks)

I have found an opensource software here

which i have succesfully installed and got working. The software pings a list of urls i enter.

The problem is that this is a "live website checker" ping software and not a "pingomatic" pinging service which pings urls back to the search engines. And i guess i cannot use it for the second target (index pages that contain backlinks) but just for the 1st one (to keep my websites live).

And the question is

Is there a way to do the second kind of pinging with this kind of software?

Is there another "pingomatic" opensource web software to do this kind of pinging?

If someone knows, i would appreciate a feedback on this
