Google...or Big "G" ,

your routine slaps are becoming obsessively ignorant. At this point you might wield the power, however competition breeds excellence. Let me introduce you to your new competition..."BING" Without your CPC campaings and adsense you have nothing.

Marketers like myself have clients who we reccomend to you for CPC... we get no referral fees, we have customers buying our products using CPC... (and Your GOUGING US) and the rest of the world is using CPC and adsense. I know you wished you didnt have to put up any organic search at all, as that cuts google profits. However without Organic search you have nothing...Period....Nada....Zero....Zilch!

As you pick up power and speed you have made the BIGGEST BLUNDER IN BUSINESS, the same BLUNDER so many companies with record breaking growth make. Wanna know what it is? YOU FORGOT WHERE YOU CAME FROM !!! Marketers Drive your business period in one way or another. Eventually big business is going to catch on too the little Google scheme, remember, people always discover the truth or reality.

It wasnt long ago when you were a fledgling company in a garage looking for Venture Capital, my how things have changed. It really is time you get back to your roots and start taking care of the people who helped GOOGLE become a success... The marketers of the world.

Quit SLAPPING us around, or eventually we are going to BITE YOUR ASS BACK !!

Your market pentration and stranglehold is going to start too slip if you don't change. I know i for one, am looking at every available solution i can. Right now, i dont reccomend you too anyone for anything and will continue to do so til you change.

Failure to Change = Failure and Bankruptcy.. Man i can Only Hope

For now, i am just going to have to do my small part to be disruptive to GOOGLE, as your Gorilla Tactics have left me no choice. Hopefully others will join and follow suit.

Regards,
Robert

P.S- If you plan on sandboxing me and slapping me personally for this OPEN LETTER, no worries, your already screwing me and others 6 ways to Sunday.

P.P.S- Rob T another marketer would also like to Add "Thanks for taking forever to approve my Adwords ads. $22 billion in revenue in 2008, and you have what? Two people reviewing the ads?"

Oh What Fun...Come on BING!

I think it's a lost cause, Google don't care about us, they don't care about top affiliates spending over a million a month, i'd rather tkae my business to someone who cares.

      I posted this last night.

      http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...ogle-back.html

I sent out over 1000 e-mails to some people on my list. The responses I got were truly amazing. What I have discovered is that if someone has face the slap themselves they know some that has.

What really has blown me away is that more people are just sick and tried of trying to please Google and are looking for alternatives. One person wrote me back and stated " I remember when Google was nothing they were just a search engine that was struggling to just get by. As they were growing they offered excellent customer service, and often asked for my business. What happened is they got to cocky and to big way to fast. My personal feeling is that it is going to hurt themselves in a very short period of time."

        Jeff,
totaly agree, we need to post letters, and look for the alternative solution
to google, the goliath come and the goliath fall. I for one did exactly as you
did. Its time to do something different. Thanks for the reply.

I may have some ideaology in me, but at the core i'm a realist. Those who will make the biggest impact against Google's policies will be those who spend the most money with them. It's a dollars/influence game. You can post all the open letters, and rants (not that I disagree with you), and objections towards Google, but at the end of the day they're in bed with the large money spenders.

Marketers who are just squeaking by or are making sub $500/month do NOT fall into the influential category unfortunately. There are some heavy hitters out there in the adspend world and if THEY start to become affected, then i believe you'll see some changes.

Do you really think Frank Kern, Rich Schefren, Eben Pagan, John Reese, Andy Jenkins, Mike Filsaime, Russell Brunson, etc... are successful because of the Internet? ......NOT!

I consider myself an Elite Marketer. I don't follow the heard. I learned Old School how to market. I can whip my competition so easy because all these 20 & 30 somethings only know the Internet. I learned from the Masters how to Market. The Internet (Google) is simply another Media, that's it. Study Caples, Collier, Ogilvy, (Kennedy, Halbert, see Sig)... and you will Dominate the competition.

Start to use your Marketing skills and quit taking the Old easy way out of using Google and trying to Manipulate the system.

I'm sick and tired of everyone complaining about getting Google slapped, in the Sandbox, etc...

Learn how to Design effective Websites, stay away from Flash, rotating ads, etc... it lowers your conversion. 99% of the sites I see SUCK. Look in my Sig and Click, you may learn something from the Masters.

Learn how to Write copy. The late Gary Halbert said whenever he needed a new Yacht he just wrote another letter. John Lennon said whenever he needed another Mansion he just wrote another song.

Quit giving Google all the power, **** Google. I am doing everything in my power to stay away from the search engines. Yes, I still have my clients on Page 1. I use Organic, Local, and PPC to DOMINATE Page 1. How many of you have your client listed 6x on Page 1? I know what I'm doing, but I still hate Google.

For all you CPA goobers, I have a friend who is using Offline methods to direct prospects to CPA offers and is killing it (over 400% ROI).

IMHO Google is Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too big, very similar to the US Gov't. Google controls over 2/3rds of ALL searches and most of the PPC market.

If you're working the Offline crowd start to place more emphasis on other methods. I want all the Newbies and people who "think" they know how to market to pay close attention.
        • The biggest Asset you can offer your Offline customers is Email Marketing, nothing beats a Good List and well written emails, period. The Easiest person to sell to is your existing customer.
        • Have your clients list their URL on everything they own. Biz cards, Letterhead, Invoices, Emails, Company equipment, Vehicles, etc...
        • Voice Broadcast, yes Voice broadcast is awesome.
        • Direct Mail via postcards, newsletters, etc...
        • Joint Ventures with other companies
        • Get your clients in all the major directories.
        • Place more emphasis with Bing/Yahoo
        • SEO is NOT as reliable, Start using PPC with Google, Yahoo, and MSN. PPC is a more reliable source of traffic and is absolutely necessary to a REAL company in terms of using the Internet for traffic.
        • I have a 101 other methods, but concentrate on the above.
We do not need to Save our Offline clients money on their existing budget. If my client is spending 10k per month on marketing, I want to continue spending 10k but make it much more effective. Let's get more reliable traffic and higher ROI, period. If you can get a client a 25%, 50%+ or more revenue in 12 months you've done a damn good job and the client will be very happy.

Now let's all do our best to knock Google off it's high horse. Never thought I would root for Microsoft/Bing.

        Rant off,

        Mac

How did you get a single client listed 6x on page 1.? Who?

Must have been very non-competitive...or, non-google friendly.

            Debra,
there are several ways, combine wordpress with Videos, Arcticles that are written with a 1 page wordpress blog powered by the Theme extractor and content analyezer and it flat out rocks.

            It's being done every day.
            To your continued success

Ever read George Orwell's Animal Farm? The underdog always plays nice
until they get to the top then they screw you over the first chance they get.

Microsoft has become the search engine underdog here and they'll play nice until they get to the top. We already know that microsoft doesn't play fair, they employ ruthless tactics to destroy any budding competition.

I just hope that they see the mistakes Google is making and realise that the marketers are the ones who drive the whole search engine business.

I wonder how much search engine spam has been put on the internet from readers of this and other IM forums. Rather staggers, no so much though as someone from an IM forum writing an open letter to a search engine.

                  Waretime,
i have no idea, i just know, that most folks are always
afraid or fear speaking up. I wanted to put something
out there, if everyone did, things could possibly
be a little different, who knows.
