Need offpage SEO advice?

hi,
i recently designed a press release site, based on wordpress, and currently i am in process of doing off page seo, i got hold on some expired pr1-4 tubmlr blogs, and willing to fill these with content having my sites link, can i do this using my own ip, or do i need to use proxies or vpn.

    That depends on how paranoid and how revealing you are. If you use GA on the PBN sites, I would proxy/vpn in since you might tie the network together by having your IP visible to google in the admin areas of each site.

    I'm not a big fan of tumblr and I'm not really sure if you can even use GA on those honestly. If you can, view the source of every page that you hit while logging into the admin, if the tracking code is persistent then you could easily reveal yourself.

    I would suggest to use VPN/ Proxies and also make sure you are not using Google Analytic and Google Webmaster for them.
