Need Help With Yelp - Not sending confirm email

wondering if anyone else has had this problem and knows how to resolve it.


i have been trying to list a carpet cleaning company in portland who is a client of mine onto yelp.


i follow all of the steps and keep getting the message screen saying to look for my confirmation email to finalize the process and claim my page, but the email never comes.


i have gone through the process over a dozen times....and keep getting the same reslult or should i say NON result.


obviously yelp is a pretty important biz directory.....any ideas on what i can do to get this thing listed?


doesn't apprear to be any way to contact them to resolve this problem.

    Having the same problem. I recall this same issue with Yelp years ago and I finally said to h**l with this. Can't believe many years later and the same thing. Never had this problem with any other site. Confirmation emails always arrive - except for Yelp..

    I'm assuming you've checked your junk/spam folder.

    Maybe try a different email address - sometimes that can affect things.

    And maybe try a Tweet &/or something on their Facebook page. Those typically get monitored even if there's no official support page.

    Same thing going on with my client when they review my business on yelp. How the heck I get a call from yelp paid advertising representative next day when someone try to review me. I guess yelp just hide all these reviews and plan on harassing people to sign up for their paid options.

    I am thinking to remove my listing from Yelp because I have heard lot negative about Yelp. I have heard that they only show negative reviews even if its only one while ignoring the 1000 positive reviews.
