How long does seo take to work

Hello,

How much time does it take for a website to go from 0 to a couple of hundred visitors a day with SEO.MY first goal is 1000 $ a month not sure though how much time i should invest in it.I want to start a dropshipping site but im not quite sure is it worth it, so i would need something to realte to .
Also the blackhat seo way how much will that expedite the process?

    It depends on a lot of variables including the keywords you are trying to target and how competitive those keywords are.

    SEO is a non exact science. I sounds obvious but he more you work on it, the better results you will get.

    I would always recommend having different targets instead of money and I would never recommend black hat techniques.

    Said that, SEO sometimes can be a pain but other times can be very straightforward. In my case I was very lucky and got 300k pageviews per month with only 12 months of running the website (only applied SEO during the last 6 months).

    I would on the whole stay aware from black hat seo, in some cases you can use grey/black hat seo when your doing tier 3 link building but I would stay away otherwise.


    You don't want to be seen as bad in google eyes or you will never rank or make any money as much as you try.

    depends on the keywords and competition. I would say, even using blackhat stuff, be prepared to do a few months (2-4) of work before seeing any huge improvements....especially if the site is brand new.

    If you are planning on doing something with less competition then you could shorten that time frame but I am assuming since you are looking for 1000 per month that you have some competitive keywords

    SEO would take some time to be measurable with clear results. Take it about a month or two for full reports to be generated...

    Yukon is right, there's nothing to comment on. Even the business model isn't clear from OP.

    If you're creating a drop shipping site to a niche and country that has very little competition it might work just fine. However, it's likely that you should've done this at least five years ago no matter how backwoods the area you reside in. If you're operating in English you've got the uphill battle to beat the company that does the drop shipping for you, and all of their existing resellers.

    But as I said, I've got no clue what's going on here. Just picked a keyword from OP, and went off on a tangent.

    A lot things depends for getting more visitors, first of all need high quality contents then white hat SEO. For doing Proper SEO traffic need more time and it's worth. Black hat can destroy your entire business.
