I have started a website related with wallpapers, quotes and whatsapp status messages in November 2015. It nearly has 150+ post which i have updated on regular basis. I have done basic SEO what one can do for like naming the images, adding tags and meta tags, description, using keyword rich contents, back linking, have made a facebook with genuine effort and now it has 105+ likes on it, have pinterest page with few followers etc etc. SEM Rush show that nearly 1200+ keywords are indexed, Domain authority is 10 and Page authority is 17, Alexa rank is near to 5 lack, external backlinks are 68 with 7 edu backlinks. Even after putting so much efforts I am only getting 60-80 visitors per day. I am really depressed now and don't know what to do. Pls guide me.

As my experience, the hosting can be a problem for search engine if it does work well. As my recommendation I suggest you to find a good quality hosting.

I never recommend free servers, if there's black hat SEOs link spamming tons of sites into the the IP address the server uses, it's possible that a penalty on the IP level has been applied. It's rare but it has occurred before.

So you've chosen three non-related and oversaturated niches. This may be your worst problem when it comes to SEO, but this also has "thin content" written all over it. Wall papers, the kind of Facebook-shared quotes, and screen caps from social media services are all just images.

I'd approach this as a "SEO not possible" scenario, and put my efforts to something like Facebook and Pinterest. If you get it to rank in the future it's a nice bonus.

Having just one such site is not a viable business. You should try to build several niche sites, and see if some of them take off.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?

Thanks nettiapina for your valuable inputs, well I have seen many other sites which are build on same niche getting very good traffic, if you say it is like "no seo" for this niche, how come they are getting so much traffic, can you pls guide me.

      Awaiting your valuable inputs.

That's not quite what I said. I'd approach bringing a new site to these niches like that, and try to find traffic sources other than SEO. Maybe something like a giveaway or a competition might work for you, but it's likely that you'd have to do something like FB advertising to get it going.

SEO is certainly something that you can get to work for you, but it's also possible that the top spots are already occupied by web media companies or seasoned webmasters.

Giveaways are still a great way to bring in tons of traffic and create leads for your online business.

Unbounce put together a case study on giveaways covering millions of visitors on 100 client sites and found that landing pages with giveaways saw a 700% increase in leads or email subscribers, which are really the lifeblood of most online businesses.

Giveaways are great not only because you get 100s or even 1,000s of email addresses that you can market to in the future, but you get the benefit of an extremely targeted list of people.

This is why it's important to make the product or service you give away as specific to your niche as possible. You don't want to give away something that everyone in the world might want like an iPhone. Otherwise, you're gonna get a bunch of people signing up for your giveaway that don't care about what you or your business offers. And that just wastes your time and money.

Once you've decided on the product, you can either buy it yourself if it's not beyond your budget and you honestly don't need to spend that much money to have a successful giveaway. You'd be amazed at how many people fall over themselves to get a $200 service for free.

Or, if you're trying to save money, you can reach out to the business that sells the product you plan to give away and ask them for a free one to use in your giveaway in exchange for the free advertising. You might also offer to write up a review on your site since you're giving away a product that you think is valuable to your audience.

A lot of people recommend having a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place or giving away more than one of the same thing so that people feel like there's a better chance of winning. Some people won't enter giveaways at all if there's only one prize because the odds are too low. You should test out both, though - one prize or multiple and see which gets you more subscribers and entries.

There's guy named Josh Earl who gave away something called Sublime a couple years ago. Now if you're not into coding and programming, you've probably never heard of it. But because he chose a prize that only his potential customers would know and like and marketed only in places where those people were likely to be, he managed to pick up more than 100,000 new and very targeted subscribers in about 11 days.

Another business that used giveaways and gathered more than 100,000 email subscribers in about a week was a company called Harry's that specializes in razors and shaving cream. They had been a brick and mortar business that finally launched a website and they decided to do it by giving away some free products.

In general, however, there's diminishing returns to running giveaways. Noah Kagan, who runs the KingSumo service I'll talk about in a second, recommends doing them quarterly. He overdid them while building up AppSumo's subscriber base and found that each one seemed to bring in fewer people than the last until he started spacing them out over time.

You'll notice I keep using the word giveaway as opposed to giveaways or competition and this is because if you look at the Unbounce case study above, you can see that including the word giveaway in your prize title led to a 27% increase in entries. They also found adding the month to the title increased conversions by an additional 40%.

Now besides picking a good title and a targeted product, you'll need to promote your giveaway like crazy. So start by sending the link to the giveaway to all of your contacts and existing subscriber list, sharing it on your social media accounts, creating a blog post about it and maybe even using Hello Bar to let your site visitors know about it.

Then, you'll want to find all the forums and message boards that are extremely interested in your niche using boardreader.com and omgili.com. You just type in your main keyword and they pull up all the blogs related to that topic. You should also post the link in Facebook groups and Google+ communities.

There's two very good services for running these. The first one, called KingSumo, is only available for Wordpress sites but the second called Gleam can be used on any site. Both of these services provide what you might call virality by giving people additional entries for sharing the giveaway on facebook, Twitter, pretty much any major social media platform.

They also provide people with their own referral link to the giveaway so that if they email their friends about it and those people sign up through the link, they'll receive even more entries. Both Josh Earl and Harry's used this viral feature and the latter said it brought in more than 77% of their total entries.

        Great Post?

You posted your own content? What are you doing?

        https://www.udemy.com/growth-hacking-conversion/

Also, Pat Flynn makes enough money talking about how much money he makes, did you really need to link to his site? I never understood what's so attractive about the site's of business opportunity marketers.

"Why deleting content can help your search ranking." <-Yeah just delete your site, disavow all the links, there's no point in doing SEO or CRO, just delete all that crap. Why bother screwing around doing work? You don't need to do that to fix your site's content, just delete it. Great advice... /facepalm

Without seeing your backlink profile, it is hard to say the reason. It seems you built the link yourself, not earned them naturally, so Google may be seeing them as spammy links. Your website is fairly new so 60-80 visitors per day is not so bad I would say.

That's true. For such a website which might/might not have new informative but fancy content, one can't expect to grow overnight. 60-80 is very decent, in fact a good number. You keep putting your efforts and stay tight longer, do whatever you are doing and things will move in your favour soon.

    • here are many reasons as to why your website may not be getting enough traffic. Things like the age of the domain, the reputation of the author, number and type of references (incoming links), social media strategy and content freshness play major role.

ddesigns - you could spend hours and hours learning about all the traffic generation methods on the planet... it would be absolutely overwhelming. But, if you need traffic right away, the fastest way is by paying for it. At anywhere between $0.25 - $1.50 per click you can drive substantial traffic to your site. If you're copy is good and your offer is on point, you should be able to make up the advertising in sales. Just a thought.

    All the best,
