My question is regarding a PBN link showing up on multiple pages on the PBN site.
Example.

You have a pbn site set up as a blog roll with posts on the home page to pass the most juice obvious. Is it bad if you notice in WMT that the post is on several pages of the pbn site like this.

http://abc.com/category/pet-clothes/
http://abc.com/category/pets/pet-clothes/
http://abc.com/buying-pet-clothes/
http://abc.com/author/cat-lover/
http://abc.com/feed/

Basically that home page post is also on several other pages etc. Is that harmful? I am showing that the post is on 5 different pages and this has happened on probably 7-10 pbn sites.

    That's a theme problem.

      I would agree.

But do you think that all those duplicate pages have a negative effect on rankings?

Absolutely. Duplicate pages like that can cause algo penalties with Google. It's definitely a problem you want to fix quickly.

If by algo penalty you mean it will put the duplicate content into the supplemental index (where it belongs) then correct.

You're not going to actually get penalized for this but you have authority flowing into a void (supplemental index) and it's just not good on page SEO.

Ideally, all index/category/tag pages should have unique content on them.

As Yukon suggested try changing the theme and see if it stops it from propogating like that. Sure it's bad to be repetitive like that.

Your question is a little bit confusing, but blog roll or site wide links are collapsed into a single link and the weight passed is what ever the authority of the highest page is. This is generally the root index page but it doesn't have to be. Officially confirmed by Mr. Cutts.

It's kind of hard to answer your question because it seems like you are mixing two concepts together.

If the link is on a post and you have the site setup like a blog with your latest posts sitting on the index page then duplicate content will show up in various places in the site. It isn't "bad" but it isn't ideal. Lots of sites are like this but I'm pretty sure what I said above also applies since it's just duplicate content.

I guess what I was getting at is that if I site command in google, I get 4-5 pages with the same content that came from the home page post and would this harm rankings. So instead of having 1 link coming from each PB I have 4-5 links coming from it because of how the theme is set up.

Just get rid of the duplicate pages. What purpose do they serve?

They serve none lol. I was just wondering if this issue would cause a drop in rankings. Seems rankings dropped after the last penguin update and I haven't looked at the link profile in a long time and this had me thinking when I discovered this today.

I'd be far more concerned about the state of your real site than whether your PBN has a minor duplicate content problem. Provided your PBN is indexed your target site will benefit from the link.
It's sensible to make a blog network look natural, so making every site in your network perfect in terms of onpage SEO is quite unnatural - most sites on the internet are broken. it's no bad thing if some of your blog network sites are too.
There are more important things to spend your time on, TBH.
