How to effectively use multiple locations in SEO?

So I am in Queens, NY but I also I get customers from far off Manhattan, bronx, brooklyn and Long Island so I wish to target those areas too, how can I best target all of those locations too please?

This is my HOME page title and description:

    The best way I can think of is write a few blog posts mentioning those locations.

    Like -
    Best computer repair service in manhattan
    Data recovery services in Brooklyn.

    Write content mentioning location specific terms like addresses if possible.
    From there on Google should be able to pick it up.
