If I've got a PBN, is it advisable to provide all the backlinks from the home page as this page is the strongest page in the site. Or is it more advisable to get backlinks from other weaker pages?

I pretty much stopped using home page links a long time ago. If you are using a lot of home page links, it is pretty obvious what you are doing.

I still use homepage links exclusively and haven't run into any issues. I have over 500 PBNs. I also protect the PBNs from being indexed on sites like Majestic and Ahrefs. One of the biggest issues is someone turning you in. I see lots of people who use PBNs but don't do anything to hide the fact they are doing so. It's very easy to spot. If you want to be extra safe you can mix it up a bit.

Everyone that has got deindexed says this right up to the day before their PBN got all deindexed. IF you have anchor text links on the front page of all your PBNs heed Mike's advice.

its drop dead obvious and there are now so many different link bots out there you won't end up blocking them all/ plus its not true that the home page has to be your strongest page. Most organic domains get links on several pages and you can structure the site to convey that juice to an inside page not just the home page.

Of course they do because it's based on their own experience. 4 years and $4.5 million dollars later I'll stick with what works. When it doesn't I'll readjust.

Ignoring obvious footprints isn't how doing good PBNs work its just how some get lucky. You can get lucky and not get any taken down but that doesn't say anything.

also - For the record - income claims don't mean much to the regulars here. Its pretty much an IM standard for people to claim all kinds of incomes especially when they are in the make money online by showing others how to make money online niche.

Besides that - each to his own and all I have to say on the subject.

I'm not going to say it and screw the PBN guys over but if you think that does much you are mistaken. I can find sites doing that very easily. Granted it does take some time, but there's definitely at least one spider you're not going to block.

But you decided to get a logo done on fiverr for the site in your sig, sure dude.

      also:

      Code:
description for your awesome landing page
I posted a case study the other day, ranked (badly granted) in 3 days with a brand new site with 1 piece of content, oh and no backlinks either. Honestly, I really just posted it so newbies stop believing in insane bullcrap like the "google sandbox" and other insane concepts. Your customers (that you're lying to and probably scamming) might buy into the horsecrap but anybody with any experience at all, won't.

So far on my new project, I'm ranking *faster* then I ever have before, not slower. Keep lying to people to line your pockets dude.

If you think it takes longer, it's because your sites and your backlinks are trash. If the site is untrustworthy then why should google rank it at all? But if it's trustworthy and trustworthy sources are linking to it, then why would google wait to rank it?

They shouldn't mean anything to anybody. I'm not going to tell you what I'm making and it's hard to believe any successful marketer would. I'll be honest about it, I make more then most people, the battle to get to that point was rough, I really don't recommend it to anybody. Seriously, if you're going to make money online do ecommerce or just forget it and stick to offline.

And now that I'm "successful" guess what? It kind of sucks, I'm a slave to it now. My "freetime" is posting here.

I follow the same borderline insane routine every day, communicating with influencers, sourcing content, building new sites, and guess what? I still can't actually afford a lambo yet. I could buy one and seriously tax my buisness, but then I would have to do this garbage for another 5 years before I could move on to something else.

If you don't mind asking, How long did it take you to become a success? 1 year perhaps?

Isn't blocking access to all ur pbns for seo bots in htaccess a footprint itself?

It might be, but it doesn't block the google bot from crawling the website. I'm not 100% undetectable but I mitigate risk where I can. I feel like having my entire network exposed to every Tom, Dick and Harry is more of a risk. Not sure if you are in competitive niches yourself but negative SEO and turning people in happens a lot in the niches I'm in because of their competitive nature.

PBN + Only home page links is clearly a suspicious method and a sign of manipulation from Google.
