Optimize your videos with the right tag and write good description for your videos. Add YouTube videos on your website and connect with your blogs.

There are different tutorials on ranking YouTube videos. Create video that solves a particular problem. I users stay on your video for long, it gives your video authority and YouTube will rank your video better than your competitors.
Try to write description of your video of atleast 300 words. Use the right keyword in the title. Brian Dean has wrote a detailed post on ranking YouTube videos. Here's the link:

Find easy kewords to rank for, but with good volume of search and make video for them. Dont try to rank for hard keywords.

What are you trying to accomplish? What's your idea?

It's pretty obvious how to go from there. Create videos that people want to see, and try to get viewers, subscribers, comments and likes/dislikes. Usually those who eventually do the best at YouTube would do it even if nobody watched their videos.

No, it's not a technique to pass gas.
    Signature
Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?

Make sure you get some interaction (likes & comments) on that video.
Then do some social sharing and build some links (basically, do some SEO to it)

Give meaningful and related tags/keywords and put detailed description in your post.
Always make audible and readable video so that you cover more range of users with different choice.
Keep videos in series and related category.

And so on but these are just for beginning later you can master other techniques like sharing, traffic etc.

I went from 0 to around 100 views per day over my ~15 videos in a couple of months, and the easiest way I found to get ranked was to go for the easy keywords.

I scrape 5000+ keywords related to a niche from Google's keyword suggest tool, and then sort them by search volume. I then whittle the list of 5000 down to around 500, keeping keywords that get searched between 300 and 1000 times per month.

I then search for them on YouTube, and if the competition is low, I'll make a video about it. I'll then find all of the related keywords that get 100+ searches (variations of the main keyword), and include them in my tags. (Definitely worth it to take advantage of the 500 character tag limit)

Literally within seconds of uploading, my videos are on the first page of YouTube search for keywords that get 300+ searches a month. (300 searches on Google, not YouTube, but I just use it as a guide.)

And then obviously as your channel gains authority, subscribers, and higher viewer retention, you can aim for more competitive keywords, and keep the growth going.
