I uploaded one video (https://youtu.be/KJb0lWroRuw) a day ago and i know i need many views and likes on my video to get on first page. At this point, it is really difficult for me to get as many views if i do not share on external sites. Are there any good external sites that I can share Youtube videos to get more traffic? (FB, Pin, twit, etc)
Thank you!

I suggest adding about a 300 word article to your description with keywords related to the video. This is standard practice for SEOing video content as the search engine cannot read a video!?

Yes, that is right....if any body want to get top page by SEO then you have to write 300 or more words for your site or any others site that you wanted to rank in google search engines. And also you have to write content about your videos into 300 words.

hello kim, first of all, it takes time to get good results, however, I advise you to post your videos on other platforms such as DailyMotion, Vimeo and Metacafe to get more views.
However I saw the video and it is very nice and well done, and as the last thing I can recommend another site, Tubemogul, it is really very interssante, good luck!

I agree. You need to post your links to many different websites that are relate to niche and related to videos. Post links on social media and ask friends to like and share it. Nothing is viral than social media, use it to your power.

Nobody can answer that question. We can't know what goes in YouTube's algorithm, and even if we did it would depend on competition.

Congrats for actually having a video that's not total garbage, and one that is interesting to certain demographic. Unfortunately there's a lot of competition for cute animal videos. I see you've already done better than most people with 3500 views in couple of days.

Viewer retention and engagement are also important in the YouTube engine so if you can boost those you may do slightly better. Unfortunately the more popular channels tend to do better in popular searches.

Sharing the video seems like a good idea.

I liked the video. I am going right now to post it on my Facebook fan page which has several thousand followers in the dog and cat niche.

This isn't something I would recommend, but if you take this route look for full retention views. Just having a bot refresh the page doesn't help at all. Please note that this is quite dangerous for your YouTube account.

Reddit. Your video is practically made for one of the animal/cute subreddits on there.

Youtube SEO is not exactly same as the website's SEO. You have to use some techniques for your youtube SEO. For ON Page, You have to put a great brief description for your video which will help people to find your video. And for getting visitors you have to do make some backlinks and social media promotions as well.

First maintain your YouTube channel as well as video URL descriptions properly. If you're in email marketing..mention the video URL in signatures, there are various platforms where you can mention your latest/reference video URL like blog commenting, make summarized gif videos of your video and share it in socials; if you're active in other social media networks in addition with facebook, twitter and pinterest or linkedln..or you can go for like for like type websites..

YouTube videos are not showing up in the new Google SERPs where there are no Adwords on the right side of page?

Getting views is the easiest way. Use Reddit to get views, even a few hundred can make a big difference. Embed the video on your blog to get more views.

I know how to get traffic... but my question is about the Google SERP changes. Now the YouTube videos do not show up on the first page of searches, as it did a couple of weeks ago. The changes that Google made in the Adwords (no longer showing any ads on the right side of the results pages and adding an ad at the top - now 4 ads, not 3 ads) and eliminating all the first page videos from YouTube... Now all the results I did have with videos and the unique thumbnails... are gone! Big difference!

But all that doesn't matter if Google has decided not to show YouTube videos in the SERPs!
