Hello there,

Sorry if my question might be considered as a silly question...

Suppose that I have 3 keywords like:
1. Lose weight
2. How to lose weight
3. How to lose weight Fast

Now If I am going to use all those keywords in one of my posts in my website to rank them in google. Do I have to use all those three keywords in the post? Or it is enough to use just the #3 keyword as it includes the keywords in #1 and 2?

Say you are going to use a keyword density of %1 in your post for those keywords, What do you do then?

Thanks.

You have answered your question yourself. There's no need to use all three keywords as your content will be focusing on all of the keywords automatically.

Though try writing unique and quality content and don't worry too much about keyword usage and density. Keeping the content natural is the way to go now a days.

    Good luck,

it depends upon length of your content, just avoid keyword stuffing, else its ok

    Thanks mates,

Just wanted to be sure that #3 (ie How to lose weight Fast
) will cover all #1 and 2 keywords if you know what I mean...

  • Using these three at different places at content once will not harm the seo, write content with good length

That would be simple to squeeze all 3 of those keywords on a page without looking spammy. Forget the density crap that has nothing to do with SEO or ranking pages on the SERPs.

    Once per keyword in:
    1. Page title
    2. <h2> tag
    3. Content

    Example:
    • <title>How to Lose Weight</title>
    • <h2>How to lose weight fast</h2>
    • <p>Learn how to lose weight quickly with no hunger, no calorie counting, no magic products, while eating real food...</p>

The <title> tag text is targeting the main keyword per page.

The <h2> text can be an alternative SERP title.

I even threw in a bonus because the word quickly is targeting the fast keyword (LSI) which is found in the <h2> alternative SERP title.
