Google results descriptions - Best intro terms

I have been researching what are some of the best "first words" for a web site Google listing to get the best open rates. ANyone know of a resourse that may shed light on this? For examplem, I have experimented with my meta tag file using numbers and percentages as the first word to differentiate me from the other 9 listings on the Google results page.

Interesting subject, and to my knowledge, not much written about it. However, if you begin with the principle that it is similar to an headline or email subject line, there is a mountain of research available. That is where I would start to look. Then I would come up with 10 subject/strap lines and show them to friends and colleagues asking which they would most likely read, rating top choices 1-3.
