If you want to analyze your website you can use a combination of:

    - Google Analytics
    - Google Webmaster`s Tools
    - aHrefs
    - SEMrush

If you want to analyze your competition you don`t have access to their analytics code and this limits your choices.

One thing to remember: Always use more than one tool because all of them are not 100% accurate. You will have a more complete idea of what`s going on only by using a combination of the above mentioned tools.

SERPed combines many of the major services (Moz, SEMRush, Majestic SEO, Authority Labs) into one platform so you don't have to pay for each separately:

    http://serped.net/

Raven Tools is another really great, sort of under-the-radar service. It comes with a 30-day free trial (no credit card either):

    https://raventools.com/

Here's 24 others you might find useful:

I'm all for tools but sometimes manual SEO audit is best because it allows creative thinking and you playing Sherlock Holms. Tools are only as good as the person the wrote the software. Take screaming frog, it will give you all the tabs of what it finds, but you need to know how to interpret it and turn it into information.
