Expired domain redirects to main domain?

Hi,

If i buy expired high pr domains and redirects them to my main domain does that help my ranking?

    Public PR was last updated in 2013 so there's that...

    You're not buying domains for SEO, the actual domains are useless. You're not buying PR. You're buying strong followed backlink profiles. That's how pages are ranked, the key is followed.

      I wouldn't say it's the best way but it's one way. IMO the best way is buiilding a legit site on the new domain, assuming the new domain has a decent link profile.

      I keep stressing link profile because unless you actually verify the new domain link profile is good odds are you're wasting your time because there's plenty of domain sellers that sell junk based on false data from sites like moz.
