If can do it yourself don't need to paid anyone. Just search using your keywords in order to get relevant sites and build links naturally. Hope in this way your website reputation and visitors will increase.

My friend, the real and organic traffic comes from free SEO and SMO. Just keep patience. Do daily promotion on social sites, do link building on only that sites which have daily new and returning visitors.

I don`t know how you could get more "terriffic" to your website. This is a general question.
But to answer to your thread title. Only way you could have free SEO is if you learn it and apply it yourself to your website.
But considering that time = money and you would have to invest time to learn SEO, I can safely say that there is no such thing as "free SEO"
