Can a website rank on google first page without seo?

Hello Guys,

I have develop an entertainment website. I do not want to hire any SEO. I own has good SMO profiles, Google + and Facebook pages with more than 20000 followers. I want to know can I rank on Google first page without any SEO or SEO is compulsory for ranking???

    Key factor to consider is the content.Google always look for fresh content which is written by you mean not copy and paste stuff,it must be related to your website niche further more you should write your content at regular intervals

    This is just impossible to answer. What are you trying to rank for? Is there competition in your niche, and for the keywords you'd like to rank for? You need to provide more information.

    As an analogy... Would you be able to answer a question like this? "I want to be the best in some stuff. I don't want to spend much time or energy on it." What's the answer to this question? You could be already really good at this vague something you're talking about, but how would I know that? I can only offer an opinion that usually it would take time and effort to succeed.

    The same goes for ranking in Google.

    Social media doesn't really help directly, but maybe your followers could occasionally give you a backlink.

    If the keywords you want to rank for on the first page of Google, have any level of competition (which is almost always the case), then you will need links of some kind, otherwise your search listing will be lost in sea of websites that do have links.

    No, you won't rank for anything competitive, unless you consider keywords like waffle unicorn jackwagon battery pill a good keyword. Keep doing nothing If it's working for you.

    BTW, I can get 120,000 followers on fiverr for $5.

      Are you talking about Market Samurai? The software is an unreliable piece of crap, and some of their claims are just ludicrous. I'm not sure if they've got some good training available nowadays, but I'd take it with a grain of salt.

    You say you have good SMO skill. Learn a bit about ON page SEO - It is a one time task and will give benefit to your website.

    Well, like someone above me said, we can buy 50.000k followers for $5 and I honestly don`t think that someone asking this question has 20.000 real followers (but I might be wrong).

    So, you want to OPTIMIZE your website so that it will rank on the first page of the SEARCH ENGINE result pages?
    Do you know what SEO means? It means SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION.

    This really depends on so many factors. If you are targeting low-traffic keywords, you have much more of a chance of ranking than something with more traffic, but this is hard to distinguish without more info.

    I would genuinely recommend that you take some time to learn basic optimisation at the very least. It's a bit of a brainache to begin with but you should be able to get there.

      Social media links may help you to reach on higher pages but not on page 1. Without SEO (good practice) it is not possible. Also it may take from few weeks to few moths to be on page one as per your SEO performance.

    What I can tell you is: If you don't know anything about SEO, you should hire someone, because all what you're talking about is secondary in term of SEO. After the penguin update introduced by Google, you can't rank accidentally and social media marketing can be implemented if all other primarily factors are well done ; what's obvious in today's SEO ; so an SEO specialist is a must in your case to develop your online business.

      That's kind of sounds like accidentally getting an STD.

      It may not have been your intention but it happened.

      I did SEO back when excite was the top engine, cause was still required for effect even back then.

      I agree with your post, the wording just struck me as funny. Unintentional vs Accidental

      Accidentally ranking would be something like : You were playing with your G.I. Joes and you somehow ranked 1 on "lose weight fast."

    i can understand that you dont want to hire an seo, but you have to know that your website placed on google first page has a lot to do with your keywords

    if you can figure those out by yourselves.. then it may work otherwise.. on page seo is pretty exhausting work
