Weird drop in rankings. What could be the reason?

Hello everyone!
I have a strange situation happening here. My friend and I have multiniche site. Both of us have different hosting accounts, whois guard protection on our domains, and most of our traffic comes from google. Both of us had around 6000 unique visitors from search engines every day. We were also monitoring our rankings and we were 1st on Google for low competition keywords.
Today, all of the posts on our sites lost their rankings. Site is not de-indexed in google because when I write site:nameofthesite.com, I can see it in search engine. Also, if I try to do that with posts on my site, I can see that post is visible in Google too.
What might be the reason for the traffic drop?
We had unique content on our sites, we built we 2.0s for Tier 2, and we used GSA links for Tier 3. Recently I noticed that most of the accounts in GSA that I used for verification stopped working, so I wonder could that be a reason for rankings drop? We used 1 GSA tool for both of our websites.
The weirdest thing is that rankings drop happened at exact same time although our sites are not connected at all. How is it possible?
Can someone give me advices what to do now?
