Bye...bye...wonder what all the people still selling services by using old pagerank numbers are going to do now? Stand by for DA and PA scores to be blasted to kingdom come

      Hasn't that already been happening?

But yes, there is no doubt it will get much worse.

I guess killing the score is an update. At least an improvement in my books.

"On Monday, March 7 2016, Google officially killed off Toolbar PageRank scores to the few browser tools and web site tools that use it. -- So technically, March 7th was the last Google Toolbar PageRank update, which essentially removed the data used by external tools."

Good riddance. Maybe now there's less newbies who get confused by this outdated and arbitrary number.

Why would that happen? Even though Moz started from PR they've got enough data to be independent at this point.

Ah ok. I read into that a bit too much. Was hopeful that PR might have gotten back a bit of usefulness if even for a short while.

I think what Mike (Anthony) is saying is that now that PR has been abolished, you'll see an increase in the amount of muppets peddling PA/DA links.

This is why we cant have nice things.

I'll confess I'm no expert in SEO but when I see and hear 'SEO experts' I can't help but see them as a pigeon in a B F Skinner experiment.

Ah, I see. Apologies for failing in reading comprehension.
