    Forum posting are better. You will get referral traffic from it and also its good for building authority.

    In my opinion, forum posting is much better! However, it is good as long as you are really contributing to that forum but not just use it for spamming your link all over it! In addition, you don't have to be an expert to contribute to any forum. You just have to make sure that you are active member that posts valuable info!

    either. Your premise is flawed because you're trying to do the job of an expert by yourself.

    Would you defend a lawsuit yourself? No, you'd hire a lawyer.

    Would you do surgery on yourself ? No, you'd go to the hospital.

    Would you file your corporate taxes yourself? No, you'd hire an accountant.

    Marketing is no different. You are, in theory, a expert in your business, not in the business of marketing. And that's obvious because you wouldn't ask the question otherwise.
