so im about to make my second website and hopefully can get a white hat going. I've been talking to some friends that arent really in internet marketing and there telling me about ppl? i think is the anagram for it..basically i just need a website with a hosting plan that can handle huge traffic...also last time i did this i did it through hostgator and i guess i didnt sign up for the private server or w/e so i had people find out where i live and stuff!!!! so this is what i need.

What is the name of the anagram or whatever i should be looking for where all my information is private? also what hosting companies should i use?

one more question sorry....is it better to code a website then to use plugins?

thank you warrior forum hope all of you do great!!!

You can go with a variety of hosting companies. Godaddy, HostWinds, Hostgator. But you can pay a little extra to have your info to be kept private. Thats all I usually do. Its usually an option that the hosting company gives you when you register for a domain.

You make so little sense that it's impossible to help you. Are you talking about SSL? Or perhaps VPS? Neither of these matches your description, but at least those are hosting-related abbreviations... If you're talking about a VPS the "private" means that there are no other users on that particular server instance, nothing more.

If you're trying to set up a site that should remain private, keep it in your private network behind your firewalls. Do not put secrets on your publicly visible site. That's the rule of thumb.

If you need to ask that kind of a question it's safe to say that it would be a good idea to get someone to help you with the technology.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?

With WordPress, there are many excellent plugins to extend it's functionality, which are quick to load, so it isn't necessary to code your website. From a sheer convenience pov, it's best to use plugins unless you have the skills to code.
