DailyMotion Views Sharply Down...

Suddenly, since mid-March (or thereabouts) views are WAY down. All of my videos are simple insurance-related with white-hat content. I write original descriptions of about 150 words.

Not impacting YouTube. Just DailyMotion.


Is this happening to anyone else?

    Yes...Organic. Typically, if the video title was somewhat long-tail, it showed up fairly well in Google video searches (DailyMotion videos that is).

    Maybe DailyMotion got hit with a Google update.

      Maybe it's al about the content.

      You could add more creativity with your post to generate more view from youtube.

      Maybe it's time to add another "ingredient" to your content.

    Actually, YouTube is performing fine. It's DailyMotion for just about everyone, not just myself.

    It appears DailyMotion was dinged, which I'm not really shocked at.

    Youtube is doing perfectly fine.

    Maybe there's something wrong with the use of your tags. Try adding tags that you think could generate more views.

    Hi. As mentioned, it's not my specific videos. It's the entire site DailyMotion. Just about all videos have lost ground in SERPs. My tags and descriptions are fine.

    Thanks for your help anyway. Actually, another person in the business did verify that DailyMotion was apparently hurt by a Google update, as I suspected.
