If your site was on page 3 or page 4 of google in a competitive niche, how did you get to page 1? and how long did it take you? How long did it take to get to the top 3 ranking?

  • You need quality content and as per the research the top ranking pages has more then 1500 words of content length.

    Second thing is you need hell lot of backlinks to your website

    You really have to create a good quality writing to get to page 1.

    Just create high quality contents. Gather necessary information and relevant facts.

    It's not a matter of time it's all about the content and it's time relevance.

    I basically research my competitors backlinks to come on number 1 (first page) on google.

    You guys aren't saying anything new This is basic stuff. I had a 1-month old blog post with no backlinks outranking some very high traffic websites for a long-tail keyword. But I don't want to rank a blog post. I want to rank a website.

    Backlinks and high quality content is the ONLY way to outrank sites in a competitive niche? There's gotta be more to it.

    • There is anything new and there is no secret ranking technique. Write the articles regularly, make sure the post is of high quality and rest you will get it over the time.

      There are various experiments made by neil patel and others where they ranked high without generating any backlinks. It takes time to rank high and again to repeat Quality always matter.
