Hello everyone,

Let's say you are building a niche website with the goal of $100-250/month.

What is a good timeline to adhere to in terms of expected monthly earnings?

In terms:
0-2 months earnings: ~?
2-4 month earnings: ~?

I have two websites right now. The first I started in December 2015 and the 2nd I started in February of this year.

I've put quite a bit of time and effort into both.

Both have 30+ 1,000+ word articles that are optimized for low to medium competition keywords.

It's now month four for the first website and I am still chugging along with the same traffic numbers I was 2 months ago.

According to SEMRush my websites ARE starting to climb the rankings however (albeit slowly).

Both websites are still making on average $5/month.

If you had a goal to make a $100/month website, what's a good timeline to do it in?

Regards,

There is no fixed time limit to do that you can achieve it within a week or it may take months to reach your goal. Focus on content, build quality links, target more keywords. As you will rank for more articles your traffic will increase and in turn your income will also increase.

You can't really tell if your desired profit can be achieved within your given time frame.

All you have to do is to create a high quality content to make it possible.

Create a very creative and unique and content.

This depends on the nice - on niches where the competition is high, if you manage to rank between the firs sites, your earnings might increase exponentially. On the other hand, if your niche is on the medium area, you have to be patient.
Take care of your content and try to put together a good social media campaign.

I might help if you'd describe the form of monetization you're aiming for, and the ways you're marketing your content. I suspect you're running PPC ads.

However, the question is still impossible to answer. You could hit a home run with one of the articles. You could find a better way to monetize. Maybe you'd find some allies that would prove extremely valuable in increasing your visibility. Or maybe your site will never be popular enough.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
