I have a domain name called:

Cubic Zirconia Jewelry dot com

The term Cubic Zirconia gets 49,000 monthly search results according to Google Keyword Tool.

All results on this first couple of pages are jewelry related.

There is also a company using the Cubic Zirconia dot com Domain name

Does my domain name, Cubic Zirconia Jewelry dot com give me that much more of an edge over

others selling cubic zirconia jewelry or it does not really matter.

Thanks in advance for any help

The competition for that keyword seems pretty stiff.

Having a domain name that includes the keyword is typically beneficial, but not always necessary.

Take a look at what moz has to say on the subject.

I do think, however, that have the keyword in your domain name will boost relevancy, and possibly CTR, if you don't have a recognizable brand name.

Your site is on the second page for that EMD, it seems to be doing quite well in this case, you just need more good backlinks and it should get you on the first page.

I see JC Penney is there, Big G must have redeemed them!

It'd help in branding but not so much for SEO. Not an easy keyword imo.

Google officially says it won't help. However, from my experience it helps a lot. Especially, if you do the whole branding including company/trading name with it. Than it is the brand that you can use Cubic Zirconia, Cubic Zirconia Jewelry and the domain itself. To create a good link profile, add some more keywords that brings you traffic of potential buyers.

Please keep your website in Ideal format. Don't highlight the call to action more than necessary because it looks bad honestly. There are much free space above menu. Also shift the language bar to right side and put it upper right corner.

I think, these highlighted call-to-action had been suggested by so called conversion rate optimization expert!!!

I know this isn't SEO advise to uplift the rank in Google but this will give the better user experience. It prevents visitors to bounce back from your site and this way your site's overall page/session and avg time/session will increase. May these will help for ranking boost.

It is definitely going to benefit you if the target keyword is in high search. All you need to do is to plan your website development, design well and all should be according to search engines. Your website should be search engine friendly so that it can easily come up on search engines.
There are some must have things that any eCommerce website requires:

    Optimized urls
    Structured data
    Precise navigation
    Unique product descriptions
    Image alt tags
    sitemaps
    SEO tags

Checked the site. You don't have any content on the front page. No, the product links and images don't count as content. The same goes for category pages. There's also broken links on front page and top navigation.

The product descriptions are very short, and I suspect they're copied verbatim from the vendors. The thin content is a problem in itself, but you're probably also trying to rank against competing sites with identical content.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?

I dont feel EMD matter anymore but it doesn't hurt to have it. If SEO is your method to get good rankings then fix your onpage SEO first and then start linkk buildiing for the future. I've just looked at your site which redirects too Quality Engagement Rings and Jewelry – www.TheJewelryClub.com it looks like a clean cut chinese website, as if you have something to hide. Probably not an issue right now because rankings is the goal.

Educate yourself on what good on page seo is, then study link building to the max.
