How often to post content on blogspot?

I am creating a blogspot, tumbler, wordpress blogs to link to my main site. But I want my blogspot to be good (not spam) and rank locally, too.

I need them to be a call to action type blogs with good/great content. How often does one to maintain these to gain some authority in search engines?

This is probably an outdated method, but certainly isn't against googles TOS, in fact as of 2016 Matt what's-his-name from Google posted a video saying he recommends it.

I figure what the heck, it's free other than the cost of my time. Why not give it a try?

    Post just as you would on any blog you're hosting locally. At least a few times per month would be good. Enough to let Google know it's active, but you don't need something daily (unless you just want to get it nice and full with content sooner)

      What are the best ones to create now days? I'm trying to dominate the 1st page for local search for a very low targeted keywords. Keywords that might bring 8 to 12 searches on a good day.

      Its for a lawn mowing business. I already own the #1 and #4 spot. I would like to atleast own the 1st page for 2 very specific keywords.


      The general consensus is 2 or 3 articles per week. Not sure how you can write that much content about mowing grass. Lol

    You need to posts articles, blogs at least twice in a week. This is the ideal ratio for the content manipulation.

    You should establish a rhythm and stick with it. This way both Google and your users will know when to expect new content. If you're the one creating the content, then it's best if you post once or twice a week, to have the time.

    2-3 posts in one week is good. However, you need backlinks to rank your site. Have you tried any backlink strategy so far? You can propagate your content on the web by syndicating your content. You can do this using IFTTT to include your social media accounts for a start.

    How many times you have to post to your blog per day or per week is in fact quite simple.
    Ask yourself some essential questions first:
    What audience am I trying to attract and what type of info am I offering them?
    When are they searching for this info and what where are they finding it?
    Can I in reality stick to a everyday posting schedule?
    How much can I comfortably write each day? Each week?
    Pick a posting schedule that you can continue with, even if it's less often than you wanted in the first place. Regularity is best when it comes to blogging.

    Is it a wordpress.org?
    If you have a site like that you can link twitter,reddit,facebook,well basically all sort of things to it.
    It has helped me so much,but if you do not have lot's of backlinks linking to you it is easy to waste lot's of time.

    It depends. To get the attention that you seek from your audience, you would be required to post high quality content on your blogspot. However, having high-end content does not just cut it. You would have to be consistent. Consistent is relative and can be different posting intervals for different people. First, you have to know your target audience. From here, you would easily be able to how often you should make your blogspot posts. The next step is to find out if you can meet up with the posting requirements of your audience.
    Ideally, 3-4 times a week is enough time to start building up a follower ship for your blogspot.
