Backlinking help with my niche

How can I find which sites who will consider posting (backlinking) my articles I have created for viewers having issues with wildlife (e.g. raccoons, bats, skunks) terrorizing their property? I believe my articles are very in-depth, SEO friendly, easily legible with solid, fact-finding solutions due to myself being an animal removal operator for many years. After building a solid responsive website, I think my articles are ready for the world to see.

Which tools will be best to identify which good-metric websites I need to aim for. Should I aim for local news stations? Is my niche attractable enough? What submission sites would benefit from these articles (e.g. How to remove skunks from under a crawlspace?)? I find it a little tough to find these for my specific niche-- nuisance wildlife removal professionals. Any sort of direction would be much appreciated.

Go to Google and later to Bing. Do a search for keywords related to your articles. Go to the websites that are coming up in search engines for those keywords. Find their contact info.

Now you need to write a really good proposal message. Just say that you have a great article about the topic that their site is talking about. Explain to them that they will get free and good content for their site, visitors will be happy to read something interesting and all you're asking is a link within the article text or in the author box.

Some website owners will decline, some won't respond, but some will accept and you will get valuable links. The key is to be persistent and send as many request as possible. Be decent, give them a useful text and you'll get fine links.

Thanks for sharing invaluable information. Definitely gave me a place to start.

You could also search websites/blogs that promote businesses and post an article about your business and what you do for a living. Even though their audience is not very targeted, you might reach a few people who will want to know more.
Also, gardening, home building and any sites around this topic might be interested in what you have to say.

  • Hi, you can do a quick run on search engines for your keywords. Other warriors have a point here however I would also like to add that you need to check if the site has a good amount of visitors or traffic for better chances of your posts being read. Goodluck!

Forget articles. Video for what you do would work way better. And it'd be easier to get real press paying attention with video (if you have personality) than with an article. This ain't the web of the 1990s where it was all text and articles and jpegs that took 10 minutes to load. Some niches are obviously meant for video and yours would be one of 'em.

What would you rather do - read about animal removal or watch it?

They made a cheesy reality show about removal. Don't know of too many best-selling books about it.

Search for "link outreach" on google or forums, you will find tons of info on how to approach a site to get a link/article published.

    Another question:

When contacting other sites to ask for backlinking to mine, what can my specific niche offer to them? Should I create an article they benefit from that is related to their site? Do I send them a cake? Should I create a webinar or seminar and have dot-org sites to post it? Any out-of-the-box suggestions would help. Once again I run a Wildlife Removal site.
