WHAT Is SEO? OR What Is Search Engine Optimization?

My awkward scientific definition of SEO:

SEO is a showcasing discipline concentrated on developing perceivability in natural (non-paid) web index results.

SEO incorporates both the specialized and inventive components required to enhance rankings, drive activity, and expansion mindfulness in web indexes.

Search = See, choose

Engine = Analyze

Optimize = Give Good contents, borrow traffic and pay back later with traffic

Is SEO dead? OR is it too late to get into SEO Industry?

I will keep this really short. What if I tell you that there are many business Owners / trade individuals out there that knows nothing about SEO'' - Yes, you heard me right! they never heard of it. If you say SEO - they will say : What!? S---What!?

What is that telling you? - meaning that somebody got to educate them. Is that you?
I just closed a client yesterday that paid me the highest payment I have ever made in my marketing career and this aforementioned client never heard of SEO before.
You maybe wondering and say : '' Man what planet does he live...'' - my whole point is - it's never too late to do something about your passion, and when you start doing something about it- never give up!
Find that which you are passionate about and do it regardless of how competitive the niche might be, after all - the sky is enormously wide enough for birds to fly , and the last time I checked they never bump into each other There is always a room for one more. What is your excuse?

Please tell me folks: how do you define SEO? Im I missing something?

Happy weekend y'all

    Stupid spam thread.

    [edit]
    OP deleted the spam link on the SEO Industry text after I posted. Doesn't change the fact the intent of the thread is for OP to do self promotion with a mindless post.

    Congratulations on the big sale. And yes, many, especially local, business out there have never even heard of SEO. This is the perfect opportunity for some arbitrage, as you can advertise your services for a high cost, then outsource the actual work. It's a method that has been around for ages, and anyone can get into it!

    How to promote yourself on a paid advertising platform for free.

    Lesson #1. Learn to fly under the radar.

    SEO Arbitrage Lesson #1.
    Learn SEO yourself so you know WTF you are doing, then you won't leave a trail of angry customers whose sites you tanked using third-world SEO providers.

    SEO is an activity where the goal is to directly increase our website's rank in search engines.

    Some marketing techniques will have a side effect of possibly improving our rankings. These are generally not considered to be SEO. For example, posting to facebook could lead to somebody building a link to your website.

    Facebook marketing, is not SEO. Can you do Facebook marketing in a way where it improves your website's ranking; of course.

    Also, activities that drive traffic to our website through links, but these links are nofollow, such as the signatures in this forum, are not SEO either. Because there is no direct benefit to our site's rankings in search engines.

    That's it.

    The concept is really simple

    Thing you do = website go up in Google.

    And this is why 95 percent of businesses fail.

    It also seems like two different people wrote your post.

    This is what exactly SEO is:
    SEO is a marketing discipline focused on growing visibility in organic (non-paid) search engine results. SEO encompasses both the technical and creative elements required to improve rankings, drive traffic, and increase awareness in search engines.

    I cannot believe that OP, who has SEO services in their signature started a thread with content as crappy as the definition of SEO.

    I cannot believe that OP, who has a Grow Your Business in their signature would try to grow their own business with a crappy post about the definition of SEO.

    Look, OP, when you promote your business, which is in the business of promoting businesses, stuff like this counts heavily against your own business.

    I would never hire you after this. You'll make this type of mistake about my business.

    I cannot believe that some people gave their version of the definition.
