I have a site. About 22k pages are visited daily on my site.

A reputed site has written to me this:

"We would love to republish the articles on our sites and share on our Facebook pages. We ensure that we provide a link to the original on your site.

With this, we will be more than happy to set you up with an author box including your bio and links to your various social media outlets."

Should I aaccept their offer? What beneifits I will have? And will it not amount to duplicate contents?

First of all you should check if it's a reliable one.

It's really hard to trust people nowadays especially on social media.

    Make sure it's legit.

You should be careful when engaging into different social media activities.

Be sure that it's reliable and safe.

Better to check their background first before committing.

Don't jump into and start advising just using your common sense without having any worthwhile knowlege of the subject. Read the query carefully and advise specifically relating to the questions asked.

Don't waste your and other people's time.

Personally I favor the offer given by the publisher. Only need to ensure that the publisher will share the article's link not only your home page along with the republish post.

You may receive the link benefits from publisher. Don't allow him to republish your articles on number of sites who have low domain authority.

You tell us, do you want to be associated with a crappy site or a good site?

In this case you have to inquire about them properly because all are not reliable you can test them to ask a little payment. If you need more visitors from targeted country you may order from different sites like buytraffic.co and many more.

    It's not an offer, it's a warning.

They are going to steal the stuff on your site
    whether you care or not.

Stolen stuff is rampant on google.

They actually would rather remain neutral.

    It happens daily.

    I would ignore the request.

  • If they are local try to meet them personally. Check with them what they are up to.

You're asking "Should I let give somebody permission to use my work?" Probably not, unless you're getting something really worth it out of the deal.

You are basically giving them the ability to steal your content. Are you going to get like 20k UV's a day out of this?

The proposing site would be publishing my posts (which have been already published on my own site) and giving source link (link of my site's post).

    (i) My question is how google will take it? Will it be taken as duplicate conent?

(ii) Will it help my site in seo?

      1. There is duplicate content issue based on date your article have had published.
Not to mention how is it blemishes you if someone re-publishing your articles?

If the other site has stronger SEO they'll outrank you with your own content & your page will be buried in Supplemental SERPs. It's not a penalty, just a poor decision If you care about ranking your own pages.

That's a great idea. Going to drop Brain Dean an email about that "SEO Technique" right now.
