Why are ALL my backlinks NOT indexed?

I've been building manual backlinks almost each day (1 to 7 manual DOFOLLOW backlinks) to each of my posts at my website. However I'm surprised that NONE of them is indexed by google (I hv used many backlink checkers from the internet and all of them come out with the same disappointing result: None).

Any idea how I can make google index my backlinks? All of my backlinks are dofollow. However google only index my interlinking posts, but not inbound links from other websites.

I'm so depressed & disappointed knowing that my hard work for months have come out nothing ...

Where are you getting the backlinks from?
How do you know they are not indexed?

Backlink checkers have nothing to do with indexation. Nothing at all.

You can wait to see what will happen
    or
you can sue Google for ignoring your efforts.

Do you have a google webmasters account? Google will show links that they have found.

It takes time to index backlinks, sometimes many months. Sometimes never too because there are bottlenecks (that you cannot control). Google's spider can't reach the page with the backlink, for example.

    Hi verna,

Click on the blue button on this page after setting up a Google Search Console account and logging in:

    https://support.google.com/webmaster...er/55281?hl=en

If you don't see them, as the article explains, it may be because you haven't added all versions of your site to Google Search Console. You want to add the yoursite.com, www.yoursite.com and also the https versions (if you have SSL set up).

Also make sure to set your preferred domain to the one that actually shows up in the URL field when you go to your site:

    https://support.google.com/webmaster...er/44231?hl=en

The links may actually have been captured by Google, but they're showing up under a different version of your site.

    Best,
    Matt

Thank you so much for your valuable input. I've checked into Google Webmaster & now I do see backlinks pointing to my site though the number is not as many as it actually is, but at least there are about 35% are indexed & visible.

I'm also surprised that there are very few nofollow links from weebly.com are also indexed.

Sometimes I also ping my backlinks with services like pingbomb or pingfarm. Do they help? Please kindly advise & again, thanks a lot

All you have to do is check the Google cache (text version), either Google has found the backlink/s or they haven't.

Like Mike said, 3rd party link checker tools have nothing to do with Google indexing pages.

Here are some reasons that may caused your backlinks not indexed: your content isn't unique, your links are not good, you are posting on site with "noindex", you are posting on spammy platforms.
