has anyone else noticed google seem to be taking there time to index pages just now or is it just me!!!!:confused:

    Yes I have noticed this too, I did a new site last week that took ages to get indexed and is still crawling up the rankings very slowly, I did all the right stuff to get it indexed quicker but it just didn't happen.

    Although, I have another site that indexed quickly and climbed to page 2 on Google very quickly, so I have no idea what happens or why some are quicker than others.

      I have noticed the same situation.

      And actually i've created a thread in WF asking about the same thing to other warriors.

      I used to get my new site indexed by Google within few hours before, but seems like the same techniques that i used before is no longer effective.

      Perhaps Google do have 'new' ways of indexing new sites.

      Btw, from my experience, Digg is the fastest way to get your site indexed.

      If u submit your newly-born site to Digg.com and try to Google your site few hours after that, u'll find a result from Digg in Google search.

    Hello Owen,

    It has usually taken about 2-weeks for me

    To start, I add 2 to 5 links and wait to be indexed by G.

    If there is a faster way that works most of the time (90%)?

    I am all for it and would even pay a little for that type of servive.

    Just makes good sense to get into the next gaer quicker.

    I just started a new blog yesterday and just noticed it is indexed today, so although my last site took forever, this one has taken one day.
    All I did was write 4 blog posts and 3 of those posts I bookmarked.

    There is no guarantee on this, Google may change their way of indexing overnight! I don't have new site lately, so can't really tell.

    I don't really bother about indexing, just keep building links for all my sites and contents, check for ranking every week, that's it!

    It's taking me anywhere to two weeks to a month to index for me. I don't know why, but I've never been a fast ranker. I do find it annoying because I like to see fast indexing, even though I know it means nothing and that I should really just get back to work.
