Hi,

I hired a company to develop my business website. they built and showed me through a demoprojects website. after some weeks i launched my website. They forgot to put noindex or use robots file on demo site. Now i got the problem is my website showing on 2nd place for my unique business name. The 1st one is that demo project site. Those people are fade away. closed their company. Unable to contact them. I have to inform google that "my website is the original.". How can i handle this ?

There's nothing you can do unless you own the domain or at least have admin login.

You can redirect the demo pages to the original site permanently(301 redirect) or temporary (302 redirect).
301, "Moved Permanently"—recommended for SEO. A 301 permanent redirect is way to tell search engines that the website is permanently moved to new web address.
