My http://danscartoons.com was replaced with https://danscartoons.com as the new site replaced the old with a built in shopping cart. The new replacement site was re-launched about 5 weeks ago and as of now, I have a zero page rank.
Anything I need to be overly concerned about or doing, in order to get that page rank back to where it was before? Or does it matter?

No way, dont worry at all, just focus on getting maximum exposure to your new page/website. Pagerank is completely gone from big G's books. Now the most important part would, page and domain authority and how often you keep building backlinks for your site.

Pagerank is no more, Google already kill the Pagerank toolbar.

All that matters is your followed backlinks still exist. Assuming you haven't changed anything on your own site for pages already ranked.

I'll add that I hope you have Webmaster Tools installed, so you can always be sure that you're not in penalty land. Other than that, watch your backlinks and indexed content and you should be cool

Page Rank, even before Google killed it, wasn't a good barometer largely because it was updated so infrequently the past few years

    Yukon:
I never mess with my backlinks since those are on other sites I have no access to (i.e., thery're controlled by their respective webmasters) so from that standpoint, am not concerned. As for the issue of page rank, I wasn't aware of this big change. OK, I am resolving not to worry myself with it in the future. Less worry is best!
It would be great to find out new ways in which to get more back links though. For instance, I offer "medical cartoons" and I was thinking of contacting medical bloggers or medical humor bloggers who might want to use a cartoon in exchange for linking that same cartoon back to my https://danscartoons.com/cartoon-category/medical I wthink this would be a great way to acquire decent (honest) backlinks.....and actually make the image as a graphic hyperlink to my page. I just need to find enough "medical bloggers" or "medical huumorsit blgs" out there.

How do you judge whether you're backlinking from a good site or not?

Hi Hipeopo: Glad my cartoons may have assisted you. I assume you are refering to my free daily auto-updating web cartoon I offer web designers: https://danscartoons.com/services/daily-cartoon/ and speaking of back links, this cartoon I had a special PHP script developed for it. So when someone wants to use the cartoon on their web site or some page(s) they are working on, all they'd need is a simple line of code I can provide.....you add it to your editor in Wordpress of through the HTML on your Wondows based layout and voila....the cartoon is added and begins it's rotation.
A new images changes out at 7PM NYC time and stays visible for 24 hours until 7PM and changes to the next cartoon and so forth.About the backlink factor:
What this does, is gives me a back link to my https://danscartoons.com because if you see my cartoon on other web sites, like this one for instance. Click my cartoon and you will notice what happens.

You have nothing to worry about. As long as you're getting more traffic then you're still doing fine.
